Make It Happen in 2018
A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
As I write this I am in Barcelona, Spain, on my first “holiday” since 2015! I’ve been away since Christmas Eve, and I don’t know the right way to explain it, but trying to have 3 full weeks away from work is STRANGE. So strange, that 2 weeks in I caved, found a cafe around the corner with ‘drinkable’ coffee and excellent WiFi connection and jumped back into working.
I feel refreshed and motivated. A small break from emails and the chores of every day life was all I needed. Now that I’ve had it, I’m ready to go. I still have 4 more days until the epic plane ride(s) home, which I will make the most of, but I’m chomping at the bit, ready to grab 2018 with both hands!
I have been so fortunate that I have been able to grow my business year on year since 2011 to what it is today. I have all of my clients to thank for that. All of my business to date has been through referrals. I always believe the best business relationships are the ones that are mutually beneficial. I am a massive fan of all of my clients’ businesses, and I believe it shows in the work I do.
What are your business goals for 2018?
Do you want to make it easier for your existing clients to work with your business? Do you want to attract new clients? Are you wanting a makeover of your branding and communications? Is there a new product you want to introduce to the market?
What ever your goals may be, my focus this year is to be the ‘make it happen’ lady for your business.
My business goals for 2018
In 2016 I started working with an exceptional business coach (Roland Hanekroot of New Perspectives– look him up, he has some great info on his website) and one of the first discoveries we made about what it is I do and why I do it was about people. I’ve done a lot of varied work over the last 7 years- some projects small, large, complex, challenging, easy etc, but whether I’ve enjoyed the project or not hasn’t been about the project so much as it has been about the people that I have worked with. My goals for 2018 are all about working with great people to produce the best outcomes.
Make It Happen in 2018
It’s so easy for projects to steer off course, fall by the way-side or put on hold, and from my experience a lot of the time the reasons tend to be that businesses don’t have enough time or enough/the right staff to get it done. In 2018 my commitment is to be the “make it happen” lady in your business. Think of me as an extra staff member assigned to take care of anything related to your online presence, operations and communications. Imagine what you could achieve with an extra staff member who is dedicated to take care of these projects, at a fraction of the cost of hiring your own staff member.
I’m looking forward to catching up with all of you within the next month or two and making it happen for your business this year.
